I made a 6' x 4' terrain mat recently and did a bit of a write up about the project on my blog. It's a pretty simple desert mat which I primarily want for WWII North Africa but it will also come in handy for any number of Ancient Battles or even pulp games.
The difference with this one is that I used some different materials than I wouldn't normally use and employed some different techniques than I normally use.
All in all I'm happy with the results.
